Arrowhead Stadium
Arrowhead Stadium opened on August 12, 1972, but recently completed a major renovation. Arrowhead is home to the Kansas City Chiefs, but also hosts other sporting events and concerts. The stadium holds over 79,000 seats and is one of the finest facilities in the NFL.
Kansas Speedway
Kansas Speedway opened in 2001 and is one of the newest racing venues in the nation. The track is 1.5 mile tri-oval and seats over 72,000 fans.
Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts
The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts is Kansas City’s newest facility, which opened September 16, 2011. The building has two main performance halls to host Broadway musicals, symphony and ballet performances, entertainers from around the world and other performance groups.
Kauffman Stadium
Kauffman Stadium opened in 1973 and is home to the Kansas City Royals. “The K” completed a major renovation in 2009 and will be the host of the 2012 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. The stadium gives nearly 38,000 fans an experience unlike any other facility in Major League Baseball.
Livestrong Sporting Park
Livestrong Sporting Park is Kansas City’s newest stadium and host to Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City. The stadium can seat over 18,000 people for soccer and 25,000 for concerts.
Sprint Center
The Sprint Center opened October 10, 2007 and hosts a variety of events including concerts, family shows and sporting events. The venue holds approximately 18,000 people and is located just minutes from Hangar 10.
