Facility
Breaking from the traditional approach found at most airports, the new Hangar 10 facility will be a distinct design and cultural departure that features overnight pilot’s quarters and a well equipped fitness center incorporating separate locker rooms for men and women. When completed, the 91,000 sq. ft. complex, designed by Atlanta, GA based Dye Aviation Facilities, will be situated on 10 acres at the North end of the airfield. The master-planned complex will incorporate three hangars totaling 56,000 sq. ft. and capable of handling Gulfstream 650 and Global Express sized aircraft.
The 28,000 sq. ft. executive terminal is highlighted by several inclusive pilot overnight rooms that double as day quarters complete with desk, entertainment center, private bath/shower and a fold-down bed. In addition, transient customers, as well as base tenants and employees can enjoy a large, fully equipped fitness center that includes separate men’s and women’s locker rooms fitted with showers.
The terminal will also have meeting and conference facilities, customer and pilot lounges, leased office space and an advanced flight planning area. A specialized concierge service will assist customers with meeting and conference coordination, hotel reservations, gourmet catering, on-site rental cars, limousine services, restaurant reservations and event ticketing.
